What is an Apostille?
An apostille is an official certification that verifies the authenticity of your marriage certificate for use in countries that are part of the Hague Apostille Convention. It's commonly required for legal purposes such as immigration, dual citizenship, or international residency applications.

The Utah Lt. Governor's Office also performs document Authentication services for those countries not part of the Hague Apostille Convention.

We advise you to contact your local immigration authority for questions about Apostille/Authentication requirements. 

Service Includes:

• Expedited processing without the wait for the Utah County Clerk's Office to process and send the Certificate of Marriage to the Utah Lt. Governor's Office.

• Certified copy of your Utah County-issued Certificate of Marriage.
• Apostille processing at the Utah Lieutenant Governor's Office.
• International FedEx shipping to your address.
  

Turnaround Time:

• Physical marriage certificate picked up from the Utah County Clerk's Office the Monday after your ceremony.
• The certificate will then be hand-delivered by us to the Lt. Governor's Office in Salt Lake City.
• Apostille / Authentication stamp affixed by Utah Lt. Governor's Office will be physically picked up and shipped by us to you the following Monday.

This service is exclusively for Utah County-issued marriage certificates.
